The Airport Special Cargo Commissionerate (APSC), Mumbai, operates under Customs Zone III, Mumbai, specializing in the regulation and facilitation of high-value and time-sensitive cargo. APSC plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless customs clearance while maintaining strict compliance with national and international trade regulations.

With a focus on efficiency, transparency, and security, APSC oversees the clearance of precious cargo, international courier shipments, and other specialized consignments through its key field formations:

  • Precious Cargo Customs Clearance Centre (PCCCC) – Dedicated to handling gold, diamonds, jewelry, and other high-value commodities.
  • International Courier Terminal (ICT) – Facilitating express shipments and international courier consignments.
  • Airport Sorting Centre (APSO) – Managing the swift processing and clearance of special cargo.
