Kacha Bill of Entry

  • In order to speed up the clearance of perishable cargo, live animal, human remains, life saving drugs, diplomatic goods/mails and plants, the facility of Kacha Bill of Entry (KBE) has been in place. Kacha Bill of Entry should invariably be filed under PAG system. In the case of KBE's, all 100% Bill of Entry are "System Appraised" which accepts all the details as filed by the importer.

    What is a KBE?

A Kacha Bill of Entry (KBE) is a type of Bill of Entry (BoE) that is filed as a prior entry, meaning it's filed before the arrival of the Import General Manifest (IGM) in the system.

    What are the procedures?

Filing: The KBE should be filed as a prior entry bill in the absence of IGM in the system.

Appraisement: All KBEs are "System Appraised" based on the contents declared.

Other details and procedures: All other details and procedures are the same as for a Bill of Entry
